emotions
can make
us feel
like the world
is small
and we are its
queen
sitting on top
moving it,
pushing it
in so many directions
that the responsibility
is all ours
is both oppressive
and exciting
when really
we are just but tiny
ants
walking on an
earth that revolves
around its own laws
around the sun
in a galaxy
among many
