On the way to Malaysia

it's extra great to b n London. The pots of tea, the actual porcelain cups @ the coffee shop, the light and flaky croissant w actual flavor that I loved savoring, and the marginally more investment onthe aesthetics of things, the apparent lack of American top 40s on the cafe speakers...it is really good to b out.

....It was a long trip. But it was fun. I had 8 meals in the same clothes and most of it was on my clothes by the end of the travel. Tuesday January 26 lasted four hours for me. It was the shortest day of my life. It was spent in a cafe in London airport.

At 6 AM once we arrived to London we went to the wrong terminal and had to run backwards on the walking escalator in a silent Heathrow. It was funny, with those fluorescent lights, my colleague running in front of me with her large pillow in hand, us laughing at such a strange hour in the morning.

The bus to the other terminal was so long we thought we were somewhere in central London by the time we arrived. Going through security there was about 20 little Kenyan children waiting with four of those people who watch over others I can't remember their names, and their heads were covered in different colors of orange and yellow.

It was nice to be in europe again. I bought both of Stieg Larson's books.

Malaysia- view from my hotel room

It is perfectly humid and hot. Perfectly calm and peaceful. It tastes delicious. It's pluralistic. But most importantly, its remarkably and indulgently GREEEEEN.
