Snow Accumulation
When we were little
all we wanted was to see
how some small little pieces
of crunchy white water
could turn into white mounds
of powder
we wanted it to turn green pines
into large white triangles
we want to fall into an abyss of white
in the backyard
I never believed that a enough
would fall from the sky
to give us that
but now the city has shut down
